Ms. Stacey,
CDA, EFDA, DAADOM, Practice Administrator
Stacey holds a Business Administration Degree and is the current Practice Administrator for York County Pediatric Dentistry in Wells, Maine. With a career spanning more than 25 years, she has worked in nearly every role in the dental field—from chairside assisting to clinical instruction to executive leadership—giving her a unique perspective on what drives both patient care excellence and practice success.
Stacey is a Certified Dental Assistant and Expanded Function Dental Auxiliary and has earned the prestigious designation of Diplomate of the American Association of Dental Office Management (AADOM), the organization’s highest honor. She is the Founder and past-President of the Maine Dental Leadership Coalition and serves as Dental Director and faculty member at a local community college, where she leads and inspires the next generation of dental assistants and EFDAs. Passionate about advancing the profession, Stacey is the Founder and Director of Talk Teeth 2 Me, LLC where she now offers Maine Dental Board–approved EFDA and Dental Radiography programs, equipping dental professionals with the skills, confidence, and credentials needed to elevate their careers and enhance the practices they serve.
Her leadership and commitment to dentistry have been recognized nationally—Stacey was a Dental Assistant of the Year finalist in 2016 and awarded Dental Office Manager of Distinction in 2023 and 2025. She is also a published author, speaker, and trusted consultant, guiding practices in culture, efficiency, and team development. When she’s not leading in dentistry, Stacey enjoys Maine’s outdoors with her family on their 100 acre wood.
Ms.
Kari, MAADOM – Office Manager
Kari resides in Wells with her husband Brett and son Evan. She served in the United States Air Force for 10 years as an Office Administrator. She transitioned into the dental field and has been working as the Financial Coordinator for 10 years. Kari is active in her local study club Maine Dental Leadership Coalition and received her Masters with the Academy of Dental Office Management. When Kari is not in the office, she is a dental consultant who enjoys the chase of tracking down claims. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family on the lake, golfing and going to the beach and volunteering within the community.
Ms. Kayla, CDA, EFDA, Clinical Manager
Kayla has been in the dental field for over 10 years. During this time, she has achieved her Expanded Functions Dental Auxiliary Licensure, Certified Dental Assistant Certification, Dental Radiology Licensure as well as being a key part as YCPD’s Clinical Manager. Kayla received these achievements with DANB, UNE and YCCC. Kayla also continues to further her knowledge and growth with continued education courses to ensure the practice runs smoothly and patients feel welcome and comfortable. In her free time, she enjoys working on her family farm with her husband & two daughters and spending time with family & friends.
Ms. Carrie, CDA, EFDA
Carrie is a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA), Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA), and radiology licensed with more than 13 years of experience in the dental field. With a specialty in orthodontics and a passion for pediatric dentistry, Carrie is dedicated to helping children feel safe, comfortable, and confident in the dental chair. She has extensive experience working with children of all ages, including those with special needs, and always treats every child with the same care and kindness she gives her own.
Carrie believes that early dental experiences shape a child’s lifelong relationship with oral health. Her gentle approach, patience, and ability to connect with kids help make visits fun and positive, easing worries for both children and parents alike.
When she’s not caring for patients, Carrie loves spending time with her husband, their two sons, and their dog, Maxx. Her family enjoys camping, building Lego sets together, and cheering from the sidelines at soccer games on the weekends.
Ms. Julie, Registered Dental Hygienist
Julie graduated summa cum laude from the University of New England with an A.S. in Dental Hygiene. She was inducted into the Alpha Beta Chapter of the National Dental Hygiene Honor Society and is a member of the American Dental Hygiene Association. Julie also holds a B.S. in Elementary Education from Framingham State College. She enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her family, friends , husband Doug and daughters Laura & Heather. Although she grew up in Massachusetts and spent years in Colorado, Julie enjoys all the Maine has to offer and hopes to call it “home” for a long time!
Ms. Casey, Registered Dental Hygienist, Myofunctional Therapist
Casey grew up in Northern Maine and has called southern Maine home since 2001. She graduated from the University of New England with a degree in Dental Hygiene. Casey enjoys educating her patients and their parents on the importance of preventing oral diseases, working with them to optimize their oral health, and making appointments comfortable. She completed an orofacial myofunctional therapy program in August of 2022 and likes to use this information while educating her patients and their parents.
Casey resides in Dayton with her husband, daughter and dog. She enjoys being at home and spending time with family.

Holly, Registered Dental Hygienist
Miss Holly has been in the dental field for almost 20 years. She attended the University of New England where she earned her Associate’s Degree in 2006. She then started her Dental Hygiene career part time and returned to UNE to complete her Bachelor’s degree in 2007. When Holly isn’t at work, she enjoys spending time outside with her four daughter’s and her husband Chris.
Ms. Jen, Registered Dental Hygienist
Jen graduated Cum Laude honors from the University of New England in 2011 with an A.S. in Dental Hygiene. She joined YCPD shortly after graduation and has over 15 years working in Pediatric Dentistry as an RDH. She is a lifelong Mainer who on her free time enjoys running and spending lots of time with her family at the beach.
Ms. Kaitlyn, Registered Dental Hygienist, Myofunctional Therapist
Kaitlyn graduated from the University of New England in 2022 with a Bachelors in Dental Hygiene. She joined the York County Pediatric Dentistry family immediately following graduation. Shortly after, Kaitlyn completed an orofacial myofunctional therapy program in April of 2024 and has loved continuing her education beyond the dental chair. Kaitlyn enjoys educating children and their caregivers on the importance of prevention and building healthy habits from an early age. In her free time, she loves exploring New England with friends and family and spending time with her cats Percy and Wesley.
Ms. Amanda, Treatment Coordinator
Amanda has worked in medical/dental administration roles for the past 16 years. She loves watching the kids excited to walk in the office and watching the little ones with BIG apprehension leaving with a smile. Prior to that Amanda worked in childcare centers with infant to preschool aged children. Outside of work Amanda grew up in Maine and enjoys spending time with her husband and two children camping, spending time at the lake and enjoys the sunshine with a cookout!
Ms. Shirley, Finance Coordinator
Shirley has been in the dental field since 2004 . She began her career as a dental assistant working in Oral Surgery for 13 years. She is DAANCE certified and holds her Dental Radiography License with the State of Maine. Shirley transitioned into her administrative role and enjoys helping patients navigate through their individual insurance plans and helping them with any financial needs. When not at work she enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially her husband and two grown sons. Warm sunshine and walks on the beach are her favorite.
Ms. Lisa, Patient Coordinator
Lisa resides in Sanford Maine with her husband John. She previously worked in the banking field for many years and is new to the dental industry. In her free time, Lisa enjoys spending time with her 2 year old grandson, Camdyn. She also enjoys spending time with family and riding the Harley with her husband, John on weekends.
Ms. Kathy, Schedule Coordinator
Kathy was born and raised in Tennessee and moved to Maine in 2017. Kathy has been in the dental field for over 20 years in positions as dental assistant, office manager and varying administrative roles. Kathy joined the YCPD family in June 2023 as our Patient Coordinator and genuinely loves working in Pediatrics! She enjoys golfing, the beach, spending time with her family- husband Charles, 2 sons & daughter in laws and 5 magnificent grandchildren!

Ms. Isabelle, Dental Assistant
Isabelle is new to the pediatric dental field. Prior to dental she worked in childcare centers with young children. She enjoys kids and the energy and light they bring into the office! She grew up in Maine and resides in York with her boyfriend, Kyle. In her free time, she enjoys going to the beach, going to concerts, skiing and spending time with family and friends!

Ms. Maddie, Dental Assistant
Maddie has been in the dental field for over 3 years with both assisting and sterile technician experience. She graduated from Massabesic High School in 2022 and went on to start her dental career. She then attended Paul Mitchell the school in Portsmouth NH where she earned her cosmetology license in July 2025. Maddie has lived in Maine her whole life and currently resides in Wells with her boyfriend Ethan and their dog Maverick. In her free time, she enjoys doing hair, fishing, riding atv’s, boating and spending time with family and friends.

This includes proper brushing, flossing and eating habits, ideal fluoride levels and the use of pit and fissure sealants. We strive to provide a fun, educational environment whose children learn about the importance of good dental hygiene.
This includes children’s fillings, crowns and prosthesis, including treatment of the often devastating nursing bottle decay. Our doctors are committed to discussing all options before these procedures and answering all questions you may have. Always working for the goal of a healthy smile is our first priority.
